The building in question is located along Na Moráni Street, next to Pragerovy kostky, the former headquarters of the Association of Design Studios, now home to the Prague Planning Institute. Currently, there are no buildings on this site. My design aims to fill this space and utilize its potential to expand research for the planning institute. The design includes two buildings connected by a subtle bridge. The part of the project under consideration is an administrative building with a multifunctional ground floor.

    Apartment Buildings Žižkov
    Bytové domy Žižkov
(Czech Technical University in Prague, 2026-01-12) Dolzhenkova, Polina; Seho, Hana; Poláček, Jiří; Papp, Aleš
The project of two residential buildings in Žižkov focuses on creating a comfortable and functional living space. The architectural design features buildings shaped to form an inner courtyard with relaxation zones for both children and adults. Beneath the buildings, there is a three-story underground parking garage with a capacity of 165 spaces, freeing up surface space for greenery. Each floor is designed with seven apartments of various sizes, suitable for both families and individuals. The ground floor of the western building will house a fitness center, a laundry facility, and offices for rent, accessible not only to the residents of the building but also to people from the surrounding area.

    Residential Building Ústí nad Labem
    Bytový dům Ústí nad Labem
(Czech Technical University in Prague, 2026-01-12) Hanzlová, Sabina; Koucký, Roman; Lisecová, Edita; Klofáč, Miroslav
The designed apartment building sensitively complements the void between U Kostela and Klášterní streets in the historical centre of Ústí nad Labem. The aim is to create a modern urban palace that respects the context and brings timeless architecture that is relevant to the current needs of the city. A key element is the emphasis on the corner by means of receding loggias, which give it dynamism and elegance. The design also responds to the future potential of the city, supported by the construction of the high-speed rail. The building connects history with a vision of the future, supporting the further development of Ústí nad Labem.
