V teoretické části se práce zabývá obecnou konstrukcí osobních automobilů včetně vybraných aktivních a bezpečnostních prvků, používaných u starších i moderních osobních automobilů. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the problems of the impact of passenger car constructions on the rescue of injured persons from crashed vehicles. The thesis also describes important structural components of passenger cars, to which the methodology of rescuing injured persons will be applied. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the author deals with the general construction of passenger cars, including selected active and safety components used in older and modern passenger cars. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with the description of the most frequently used alternative drives as well as various technical means and aids most frequently used by fire protection units to rescue injured persons from crashed vehicles. The findings from the constructions of passenger cars described in the theoretical part have been incorporated in the practical part. This section focuses predominantly on the procedures of extrication and rescue work, including the stabilization of vehicles in different positions during the course of a traffic accident. The following is a description of the extrication of individual parts of the passenger car body for the purpose of gaining access to the injured and their subsequent rescue. This part is followed by the methodology of rescuing persons imprisoned from crashed cars and the issues of making use of vehicles with alternative drives while carrying out rescue and/or extrication operations. The end of the practical part is dedicated to kinetics in the event of a collision, as well as to the questions of safety at the scene of traffic accidents with regard to the involved rescue workers and rescued persons. On the basis of the findings, it is obvious that the general knowledge of passenger car structures and the methodology of extrication procedures is very important for the quality and successful removal of injured persons from crashed vehicles.
