Práce dále obsahuje doprovodné texty popisující projekt tunelu Joberg, principy metod Drill&Blast a NRTM, popis programu Plaxis 2D. The aim of this thesis is to provide two numerical models of the Joberg road tunnel in Norway. The software Plaxis 2D, based on finite element method, was used for numerical modelling. Two modelled profiles were selected close to east portal, where the initial 100 m was excavated using New Austrian Tunnelling Method (NATM). The results of numerical modelling were compared with the results of the geotechnical monitoring (surface settlement and tunnel profile convergences). Designed model was tuned by back analysis and the impact of input geotechnical parameters was evaluated using parametric study. The work also includes an evaluation of a sprayed concrete lining. Additional texts of the thesis include Joberg tunnel project description, information on construction stages and principles of Drill&Blast and NATM methods, information about the software Plaxis 2D.
