Finanční analýza podniku Mondi Štětí a.s.

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá finanční analýzou společnosti Mondi Štětí a.s., na základě účetních výkazů podniku za období 2011 až 2015. Práce obsahuje tři hlavní části. První část práce je teoretická a slouží jako metodický základ pro část praktickou. Zahrnuje vymezení pojmu finanční analýza, jejich zdrojů dat a nástrojů. Druhá část se věnuje stručné charakteristice analyzované společnosti a odvětví, ve kterém podnik působí Ve třetí, praktické části práce, je provedena finanční analýza společnosti a její srovnání s odvětvím výroby papíru a výrobků z papíru. Závěr práce shrnuje poznatky ze zpracované finanční analýzy, hodnotí její výsledky a navrhuje určitá doporučení pro zlepšení celkového finančního zdraví podniku.

The main focus of this bachelor thesis is on financial analysis of a company Mondi Štětí a.s., based on the company's financial statements in the period from year 2011 to 2015. The thesis consists of three main parts. The first part is theoretical and serves as a methodical basis for the practical part. It includes a definition of financial analysis, its sources of data and tools. The second part deals with brief characteristics of the analyzed company and the industry in which the company operates. In the third -practical- part of the thesis, a financial analysis of the company, and its comparison with the industry of manufacture paper and paper products are carried out. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes findings of the conducted financial analysis, evaluates its results and suggests potential recommendations for improving an overall financial health of the company.
