Dále popisuje technické parametry jízdního kola, charakteristiku metody Body Geometry Fitu, anatomický popis dolní končetiny a svalových dysbalancí cyklistů. Kapitola metodologie popisuje vyšetřovací postupy a terapeutické metody, jenž byly použity ve speciální části. Speciální část obsahuje kazuistiky čtyř cyklistů, z nichž se dva aktivně věnovali kopmenzačnímu cvičení, podstoupili vlastní terapii a proces správného nastavení kola metodou Body Geometry Fitu. Na základě porovnání kineziologických rozborů je v závěru práce vyhodnocena účinnost kompenzačního cvičení a správného nastavení kola eliminující svalové dysbalance vzniklé cyklistikou. The thesis deals with the significance of compensatory exercises and proper adjustment of a bicycle in order to influence muscle imbalances among cyclists. The paper is divided into three parts, a general part, methodology and a specialized part. The general part describes the biomechanical and kinesiological processes, which are both part of cycling. Furthermore, it describes technical parameters of a bicycle, it characterizes the Body Geometry Fit method and the anatomical description of the lower limb and muscle imbalances of cyclist. The methodology chapter describes investigative techniques and therapeutic methods that were used in the specialized part. The specialized part includes case reports of four cyclists. Two of them actively participated in compensatory exercises and underwent their own therapy. They were informed about the proper adjustment of a bicycle with the use of the Body Geometry Fit method. Based on the comparison of the kinesiology analysis, the effectiveness of the compensatory exercise and the proper adjustment of a bicycle and their effect on the muscle imbalances caused by cycling were evaluated.
