Výstavy architektury ve 20. století v Čechách

Abstract

Disertační práce shrnuje základní poznatky výzkumu autorky, kterému se věnovala na Fakultě stavební ČVUT v Praze. Téma výstav architektury ve 20. stol. v Čechách nebylo dosud systematicky prozkoumané. Výstavy architektury byly důležitým prostředkem pro komunikaci a prezentaci návrhů a idejí jak mezi odbornou, tak mezi laickou veřejností. Často ukazovaly nové trendy a směry v oboru. Díky zachované dokumentaci vystav můžeme dnes rozkrývat a sledovat jednotlivé momenty v jejich historii.

The thesis summarizes the main findings of the author's research at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. The topic of architectural exhibitions in the 20th century in Bohemia has not been systematically investigated so far. Architectural exhibitions were an important means of communication and presentation of designs and ideas among both the professional and lay public. They often showed new trends and directions in the field. Thanks to the preserved documentation of the exhibitions, we can today unravel and trace the individual moments in their history.
