dc.description.abstract | Práce vychází z omezení daných čistě teoreticky orientovanou výukou statických předmětů napříč obory stavební mechanika, pružnost a pevnost, ocelové a dřevěné konstrukce, betonové a zděné konstrukce. | cze |
dc.description.abstract | This work has been catalyzed on the basis of discussed limitations of rather theoretically oriented structural subjects’ curriculum (e.g. structural mechanics, elasticity and strength, steel and timber structures, concrete and masonry structures) across Civil Engineering programs. The lack of connection between the computational model, the mechanical response of the structure, the experimental verification of the mechanical response and its actual implementation is increasingly evident from the students' reactions during the lectures, where this lack of knowledge often causes students to doubt about the meaning of the theoretical subjects and loss of their interest in structural mechanics subjects in general. The aim of this thesis is thus to demonstrate students the effect of basic constraints on the behavior of a structure in an instrumental way using physical interactive models. In particular, the physical models of selected structures are manufactured, analyzed by hand, textbook, calculation approaches, plus by means of Finite Element Solver DLUBAL and explored by experimental investigation. The results obtained by individual approaches are compared and discussed. The interactive testing is carried out on scaled down, additively manufactured models of various structural systems under tensile/compressive, bending and torsional stresses induced by a portable testing frame. In the framework of this work, a modular system of a building kit for structural model assemblies allowing for direct displacement and stress controlled tests to be carried out has been developed. The observation of related measurements are supported by digital image correlation (DIC) method. | eng |
