Tato práce se zabývá vlivem průmyslového dědictví na metafyzické aspekty života obyvatel v Ústí nad Labem. Pomocí kombinace metod sociologického výzkumu, především pak kvalitativního výzkumu ve formě strukturovaného rozhovoru a sekundární analýzy se pokouší objevit tyto ovlivněné oblasti a formulovat hypotézy, především v oblasti vzdělání, náboženství, vztahu k životnímu prostředí a denního rytmu obyvatel, které jsou předmětem dalšího bádání. Práce dochází k závěrům, že vliv průmyslu koreluje s velký množstvím ukazatelů v rámci lokality, nicméně kauzální příčinnost je prokázána pouze ve dvou oblastech. Na pozadí výzkumu potom vyvstávají významnější proměnné, které jsou posléze použity k vysvětlení některých pozorovaných jevů. This thesis deals with the influence of industrial heritage on metaphysical aspects of the life of the inhabitants of Ústí nad Labem. Using a combination of methods of sociological research, especially qualitative research in form of structured interview, and secondary analysis, it attempts to discover these influenced areas and formulate hypotheses, especially in the field of education, religion, relationship to the environment and the daily routine of the population, which are the subject of further research. The thesis concludes that the influence of industry correlates with many indicators in this area, however, causal relation is proven only in two areas. On the background of the research, more significant variables emerge, which are then used to explain some of the observed phenomena.
