V kapitole přehled současného stavu je popsána anatomie oblasti dané problematiky, fyziologie a patologie menstruačního cyklu, včetně patologií muskuloskeletálního systému v souvislosti s bolestivou menstruací. This bachelor thesis is concerned with the theme of the usage of selected methods in the therapy of painful menstruation. One group of probands underwent individual therapy which focused on the education of assembled exercises and aimed to eliminate malfunctions of the musculoskeletal system. The second group was instructed to apply kinesiology tape for three days on the day of the beginning of the menstrual cycle. The chapter called Overview of the current condition describes the anatomy of the given issue, the physiology and pathology of a menstrual cycle, including the pathology of the musculoskeletal system in relation to the painful menstruation. Last but not least, possible physiotherapeutic methods are listed, which are used to influence menstrual pain. The methodical part of this work describes investigative methods and therapeutic proceedings which were used and then applied on the probrands. The process of application is presented in a special chapter. The special part of this thesis contains an initial assessment of ten respondents who rate the pain of menstruation on a numerical scale from zero to ten, with five being the minimum. Part of this section also involves assembled exercises for therapy of the first group of probands and an initial assessment of all ten probands. Obtained results are presented in the form of charts comparing the course of the menstruation cycle of both of the participating groups of respondents. The results showed that regular exercise and the application of kinesiology tape successfully reduced menstruation pains, but exercise also proved to have a more profound influence on the overall course of difficulties during a menstruation cycle.
