Finanční analýza společnosti Alexandria, a.s.

Abstract

Cílem závěrečné bakalářské práce je zhodnocení finanční situace vybraného podniku Alexandria a.s. za období 2015 až 2019 pomocí metod a nástrojů finanční analýzy. Společnost se zabývá prodejem zahraničních zájezdů a patří mezi největší cestovní kanceláře na českém trhu. Struktura bakalářské práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Obsahem teoretické části je charakteristika uživatelů, zdrojů a jednotlivých metod finanční analýzy. Úvod praktické části je věnovaný představení cestovní kanceláře Alexandria a.s., analýze odvětví a konkurenčnímu prostředí. Její zbylá část se zabývá aplikací metod finanční analýzy, definovaných v teoretické části, na účetní výkazy analyzované společnosti a její konkurence. Závěr práce se zaměřuje na celkové zhodnocení finanční situace společnosti a je doplněn o konkrétní doporučení k jejímu zlepšení.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial health of Alexandria a.s. from the period 2015 to 2019. The company sells foreign tours and is one of the largest travel agencies in the Czech market. The structure of this bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The content of the theoretical part is a description of users, sources and individual methods used in the financial analysis. The introduction of the practical part is devoted to a basic description of the travel agency, industry analysis and the competitive environment it operates in. The remaining part deals with the application methods of the financial analysis, defined in the theoretical part, to the financial statements analyzed by the company and its competitors. The conclusion of the thesis focuses on the overall evaluation of the financial health of the company and is complemented by specific recommendations for further improvement.
