Behaviorální ekonomie a možnosti jejího využití ve zdravotnictví

Abstract

Cílem práce je představit existující poznatky behaviorální ekonomiea následně navrhnouta diskutovatjejich využití voblastizdravotnictví.Vpráci jsou představeny oblasti ve zdravotnictví, na které lze aplikovat poznatky behaviorální ekonomie. Ve výzkumné části autorka implementuje prvky behaviorální ekonomie na chronicky dialyzované pacienty za účelem motivovat jejich adherenci. Data byla získána prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření od 393 dialyzovaných pacientů z16 dialyzačních zařízení ze všech regionů v ČR a pomocí polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s11 nefrology.Hlavním zjištěním dotazníkového šetření je, že by motivační pobídky mohly vést ke změně chování veprospěch adherence až u 40 % chronicky nemocných pacientů na dialyzační léčbě.Změna chování by mohla vést nejen klepšímu zdravotnímu stavu jednotlivců, ale také ke snížení nákladů na péči (komplikace související snonadherenci). Závěrem jsou navrženy a diskutovány varianty strategií behaviorální ekonomie, které by bylo možné aplikovat (nejen) na tuto skupinu pacientů.

The goal of this thesis is to expalin the existing knowledge of behavioural economics and discuss its use in healthcare. The theoretical part focuses on a possible application of behavioural economics to several fields of healthcare. In the practical part, the author implements some elements of behavioural economics to chronic dialysis patients to motivate their adherence. The data was collected from a questionnaire; 393 chronic dialysis patients from 16 dialysis facilities from all regions in the Czech Republic partook in the survey. The data was also collected from semi-structured interviews with 11 nephrologists. The main research findings show that up to 40 % of patients could improve theiradherence by using motivational nudges. The changes of behaviour could lead to better health conditions of individuals. The changes could also lead to a reduction of healthcare costs. Finally, the thesis discusses and suggests different strategies of behavioural economics that could be applied to the studied group of patients
