Využití metod tematické kartografie pro Český historický atlas

Abstract

Náplní této práce jsou metody tematické kartografie s cílem realizovat jejich využití při tvorbě map pro Český historický atlas zaměřený na období 20. století. V práci jsou shrnuta česká atlasová díla podobná Českému historickému atlasu a jsou posouzena z hlediska kartografických metod. Jako součást práce byl vytvořen přehled používaných metod tematické kartografie a bylo zpracováno jejich využití pro tvorbu map. Výsledkem práce jsou vytvořené mapy, které jsou zahrnuty v přílohách a budou zahrnuty v tištěné publikaci Český historický atlas.

This bachelor thesis contains the methods of the thematic cartography and it is to be used in the creation of maps of the Czech Historical Atlas of the 20th Century. The thesis summarizes atlases in Czech that are similar to the Czech Historical Atlas and evaluates these in terms of cartography. The thesis also includes summary of the methods used in thematic cartography and the way of their use in map creation. The outcome of the thesis are the created maps that are included in the appendix and will be used in the printed version of the Czech Historical Atlas.
