Rizika diskriminace v pracovním procesu z hlediska věku

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou diskriminace v pracovním procesu z hlediska věku. Cílem práce je teoreticky popsat a prakticky analyzovat rizika diskriminace z hlediska věku ve vybraném podniku. Teoretická část definuje obecný pojem diskriminace, vysvětluje rozdíly mezi diskriminací přímou a nepřímou a jmenuje základní pojmy, které jsou s diskriminací spojené. Dále se zabývá ageismem, zaměřuje se na zdroje a projevy ageismu a popisuje problematiku znevýhodňování starších občanů a absolventů škol na trhu práce. Poslední kapitola teoretické části popisuje možnosti obrany proti diskriminaci a definuje současnou legislativu, která se problematikou věkové diskriminace zabývá. V praktické části je vytyčen cíl zkoumání, jsou stanoveny výzkumné předpoklady a je představena společnost, ve které probíhalo šetření. Dále je zde popsána metodologie výzkumu a výsledky šetření. Závěr praktické části obsahuje shrnutí výsledků a navrhovaná doporučení.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of discrimination in the working process in terms of age. The aim of the thesis is to describe and practically analyze the risks of age discrimination in the selected company. The theoretical part defines the general concept of discrimination, explains the differences between direct and indirect discrimination and names the basic concepts that are associated with discrimination. It also deals with ageism, focuses on the sources and manifestations of ageism and describes the problem of disadvantage of older people and school graduates in the labor market. The last chapter of the theoretical part describes the possibilities of defense against discrimination and defines the current legislation dealing with the issue of age discrimination. In the practical part, the research goal is outlined, research prerequisites are established and the company under investigation is presented. The methodology of the research and the results of the survey are also described here. The conclusion of the practical part contains a summary of the results and suggested recommendations.
