Experimentální studie v alergologii založená na analýze termografických snímků

Abstract

Vsoučasné době se kvůli nárůstu výskytu alergií dostává oblast alergologie do oblasti zájmu společnosti. Nazální provokační test je metoda, která pomáhá určit příčinnou souvislost mezi obtížemi pacienta a alergií na určitý alergen. Metoda obličejové termografie by měla pomoci objektivně zhodnotit nazální provokační testy. Cílem studie je potvrdit přínos měření obličejové termografie při hodnocen í nazálních provokačních testů a potvrdit či vyvrátit korelaci saktivní přední rinomanometrií. Do studie bylo zahrnuto 18 alergických pacientů a 10 kontrolních probandů, kteří byli provokováni dvěma kmeny roztočů (D. pteronyssinusa D. farinae). Nepodařilo se potvrdit závislost naaktivní přední rinomanometrii. Naopak byla prokázána závislost na nazálním symptomovém skóre, které je dosud hojně používané kurčování pozitivity testu.

Nowadays, due to the increase of incidence of allergies, society has found allergology to become a field of interest. Nasal challengetest is a method used to determine painfulness of a patient to a specific allergen. Facial thermography should help to objectively assess nasal challengetests. The aim of this study is to confirm the benefits of facial thermography in evaluating the nasal challengetests and to confirm or refute correlation with active anterior rhinomanometry. 18 allergic patients and 10 healthy adults underwent a nasal challengetest with two types of dust mites (D. pteronyssinus and D. farinae). On the one hand the correlation with active anterior rhinomanometry wasn't confirmed. On the other hand a dependence was found on the nasal symptom score which is widely used to determine the positivity of nasal challengetest.
