This bachelor thesis focuses on the recycling of concrete and the possibilities of using recycled concrete aggregate as an aggregate for new concrete. Apart from the analysis of the current state of recycling of concrete structures in the Czech Republic and in the world it examines the pros and cons of implementing recycled aggregate and aims to find ways to increase the efficiency and the quantity of recycling of aggregate. Furthermore the thesis researches different approaches to the recycling of concrete buildings. The experimental part of the thesis compares the mechanical and deformation properties of natural aggregate concrete and recycled aggregate concrete.
