Využití shlukové analýzy k nalezení center terorismu

Abstract

V diplomové práci je řešena problematika určení center terorismu ve světě. Tato centra se vyznačují tím, že jsou cílem teroristických skupin (organizací). Cílem práce není pouze vytipování významných center, ale také jejich detailní analýza včetně nastínění historických okolností, které k terorismu vedly. Nástroji ke stanovení center terorismu za poslední léta jsou matematické modelování a shluková analýza. Dalším úkolem je na základě vyhodnocení získaných dat určit, zda jsou teroristické útoky spíše vnitrostátního nebo mezinárodního charakteru, jakou zbraní se nejčastěji útočí v jaké oblasti, a zda mají některé oblasti specifické a jedinečné vlastnosti.

In this diploma thesis, problematic of terrorist centres´ detection is being addressed. These centres are characterised by being the targets of terrorist groups (organisations). The aim of this thesis is not only selecting such significant centres but also their detail analysis including description of historical circumstances that have led to terrorism. Recently, mathematical simulation and cluster analysis have been used to locate terrorist centres. Another task, based on gathered data evaluation, is to determine whether terrorist attacks have domestic or international background, what type of weapon is used most often in which area and also whether some areas have either specific or unique features.
