Tržní síla leteckých společností v přepravní síti

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá hodnocením tržní síly leteckých společností v přepravní síti, a to pomocí konceptu konektivity. Práce v úvodu charakterizuje letecké společnosti, modely letecké sítě a letiště. Další část je věnovaná tržní síle, jejímu popisu, konkurenci a trhu letecké dopravy. Další kapitola se zabývá konektivitou. Poslední část je věnována samotnému posouzení tržní síly leteckých společností ve vybrané síti hubových (uzlových) letišť a na vybraném spojení. Při hodnocení bylo použito nepřímých metod posouzení tržní síly, a to procentuálních podílů dopravců, Herfindahl–Hirschmanova Indexu a vyrovnávací síly.

This master thesis deals with an assessment of the market power of airlines in air network, using the concept of connectivity. Firstly, the thesis characterizes airlines, air network models and airports. The next section is dedicated to market power, it describes the topic, competition and the air transport market. The next chapter deals with connectivity. The last section is dedicated to the actual assessment of airline market power in the selected network of hub airports and on the selected connection. The assessment used indirect methods of market power assessment, namely percentage shares of air carriers, the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index and countervailing power.
