Využití herní konzole Nintendo Wii v rehabilitaci dětských pacientů se středně těžkým stupněm obezity

Abstract

Předmětem bakalářské práce je využití herní konzole Nintendo Wii a exergamingu u obézních dětských pacientů s cílem snížení jejich hmotnosti a zlepšení stability. Teoretická část popisuje ucelený přehled o problematice obezity. Zde je specifikovaná definice obezity. Následně je popsána prevalence v oblasti tohoto onemocnění, její etiopatogeneze a komplikace. Teoretická část také obsahuje prevenci a léčbu obezity. V metodické části jsou vypsány vyšetřovací postupy použité ve vstupních a výstupních vyšetření pacientů. Dále je zahrnut popis herní konzole a her spolu s definováním nastavené terapie. Ve speciální části jsou zpracovány vstupní a výstupní vyšetření pacientů č. 1, 2 a 3 spolu s popisem průběhu terapie pacientů. Diskuze je věnována porovnání dostupných studií zabývajících se stejnou problematikou a jejich porovnání s výsledky této práce.

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the use of the Nintendo Wii game console and exergaming in obese pediatric patients, with the goal of reducing their weight and improving their stability. The theoretical section consists of a comprehensive overview of obesity. The definition of obesity is specified here. The prevalence of this disease, its etiopathogenesis and complications are described. The theoretical part also includes the prevention and treatment of obesity. The methodological section of the thesis describes the examination procedures used for the admission and exit patients. A description of the gaming console and games along with the therapy set up definition is also included in this section. In the special section, the initial and final examinations of patients 1, 2 and 3 are presented, together with a description of the course of therapy of each patient. The discussion is devoted to comparing available studies dealing with the same issue and their comparison with the results of this thesis.
