Abstract

V této práci byly studovány systémy nanoscintilátor-porézní matrice. Podle dostupných publikací byly připraveny a charakterizovány modelové systémy ZnO:Ga, ZnS, ZnO:Ga@Y2O3, ZnO:Ga@ZrO2, ZnO@Y2O3, ZnO@SiO¬2 a Y2O3. Připravený nanoscintilátor ZnO:Ga měl hlavní emisní pík v UV oblasti v souladu s předpokladem. Nanokrystalický ZnS vykazoval slabou luminiscenci v oblasti 370–550 nm. ZnO:Ga zabudovaný v matrici Y2O3 vykazoval slabší, defektovou luminiscenci s náznakem excitonové luminiscence, u ZnO:Ga zabudovaného v ZrO2 byla přítomna pouze defektová luminiscence. ZnO@Y2O3 připravený z Zn(NO3)2 ukázal větší obsah fáze ZnO, než produkt připravený infiltrací suspenze prekurzoru ZnO2. Matrice Y2O3 byla úspěšně připravena a charakterizována, s velikostí částic kolem ~45 nm.

Various nanoscintillator-matrix systems were investigated in this work. In accordance with available publications, model systems of ZnO:Ga, ZnS, ZnO:Ga@Y2O3, ZnO:Ga@ZrO2, ZnO@Y2O3, ZnO@SiO¬2, and Y2O3 were prepared and characterized. The main emission peak of the prepared nanoscintillator ZnO:Ga was, as expected, in the near-UV region. Nanocrystalline ZnS exhibited weak luminescence in the range of 370-550 nm. Y2O3 matrix-incorporated ZnO:Ga showed weaker, defect-related emission with a hint of exciton-related emission, whereas ZnO:Ga incorporated into the matrix of ZrO2 exhibited only the defect-related emission. ZnO@Y2O3 prepared from Zn(NO3)2 showed higher content of the ZnO phase than the similar product prepared by infiltration of the ZnO2 precursor suspension. Y2O3 matrix was successfully prepared and characterized, with its crystallite size being in the region of ~45 nm.
