Zkušenosti s aplikací inhalační analgezie u pacientů s akutní bolestí

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na léčbu akutní bolesti pomocí inhalační analgezie. Věnuje se v první řadě zkušenostem s jejím podáním. Tento inovativní způsob léčby bolesti využívaný především v zahraničí má čím dál větší uplatnění i v České republice v mnoha odvětvích medicíny. Na rozdíl od běžných způsobů léčby bolesti nabízí minimum nežádoucích účinků, rychlý nástup a odeznění působení inhalačního analgetika. Teoretická část pojednává o bolesti a jejím vlivu na lidský organismus. Dále shrnuje základní informace týkající se hodnocení bolesti, farmakoterapie a cesty podání léčiva v širším slova smyslu. Detailněji je pojednáno o řešení bolesti pomocí inhalační analgezie. Tato část práce rozebírá dvě analgetické směsi - Entonox a Penthrox. Popsány jsou jejich základní vlastnosti a využití. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována indikacím, kontraindikacím a pravidlům podání inhalační analgezie. Praktická část je zpracována formou případové studie a zahrnuje rozbor pěti případů pacientů, jejichž léčba bolesti spočívala v podání inhalační směsi. Data o pacientech byla získána retrospektivně ze zdravotnické dokumentace na oddělení urgentního příjmu - Emergency Ústřední vojenské nemocnice - Vojenské fakultní nemocnice Praha. Výsledné informace jsou porovnány se znalostmi vytěženými z odborné literatury.

This bachelor thesis focuses on the treatment of acute pain using inhalation analgesia. Primarily, it focuses on the experience with its administration. This innovative method of pain treatment, used mainly abroad, is increasingly used also in the Czech Republic in many areas of medicine. Unlike conventional pain treatments, it offers minimal side effects, rapid onset and fading of the effects of the inhalation analgesics. The theoretical part deals with pain and its effect on the human organism. It further summarizes the basic information regarding the assessment of pain, pharmacotherapy, and the method of administration of the drug in a broader sense. Pain management by inhalation analgesia is discussed in more detail. This part of the thesis discusses two inhalation mixtures - Entonox and Penthrox. Their basic properties and utilizations are described. Special attention is devoted to the indications, contraindications, and rules of administration of inhalation analgesia. The practical part is formulated in the form of a case study and includes an analysis of five cases of patients whose pain treatment consisted of the administration of an inhalation mixture. Data on patients were obtained retrospectively from medical documentation at the Emergency Admission Department - Emergency Military University Hospital Prague. The resulting information is compared with the knowledge extracted from the professional literature.
