LEAN management a aplikace jeho principů na radiologickém oddělení vybrané nemocnice

Abstract

Diplomová práce se věnuje LEAN managementu a aplikaci jeho principů na oddělení radiologie vybrané nemocnice. Cílem diplomové práce bylo implementovat metody a nástroje LEAN managementu na radiologické oddělení, a tím podpořit zlepšování a zefektivňování procesů na daném oddělení. Za tímto účelem bylo nutné popsat a analyzovat taková místa na RDG oddělení, na nichž docházelo k výskytu problémů, a následně navrhnout možná opatření pro zlepšení těchto procesů. Teoretická část práce shrnuje současný stav dané problematiky. Na základě literární rešerše zahraničních studií byly vybrány metody, které jsou vhodným nástrojem pro zpracování praktické části diplomové práce. Konkrétně se jedná o metodu DMAIC s aplikací jeho dílčích metod v jednotlivých fázích. Základem práce byla analýza současných procesů v rámci radiologického oddělení. Ve fázi definování byly za nejméně efektivní oblast určeny procesy v rámci sonografických vyšetření. Výsledkem práce je navržení a implementace opatření pro zefektivnění procesů sonografických vyšetření. Mezi navrhnutá opatření patřilo zlepšení vizualizace pracoviště a implementace informační brožur pro pacienty.

The master thesis adresses LEAN management and the application of its principles in a radiology department of a selected hospital. The principal aim of the diploma thesis was to implement methods and tools of LEAN management in the radiology department and thus to support the improvement and streamlining of processes in that department. It was therefore crucial to describe and analyse areas within the radiology department with occurrence of such issues and, subsequently, to provide proposals to improve these processes. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes the current state of the issue. On the basis of literature research performed by foreign studies, appropriate methods to process the practical part of the diploma thesis were selected. This specifically includes a DMAIC method, the partial methods of which were applied within individual phases. The thesis stems from analysis of current processes within the radiology department. The definition phase determines the processes within the sonographic examinations as the least effective area. The diploma thesis results in the proposal and implementation of precautions to streamline sonographic examination processes. The designed precautions included improvement of visualization of the radiology department and the implementation of information brochures for patients.
