The aim of this thesis is to design and realize proton precession magnetometer intended for Earth’s magnetic field measurements with the possibility of signal sampling for subsequent data analysis. A part of this thesis is also testing of the designed signal chain parameters and comparison of the properties for different configurations. The motivation is to use the constructed device as a calibration for the vector magnetometer, verify the principle of the proton precession magnetometer and to compare different frequency measurement methods.
