Symbolika extremismu a terorismu a její význam v procesu radikalizace

Abstract

Obsahem diplomové práce je charakteristika výchozí symboliky současných nejvýznamnějších extremistických a teroristických organizací v České republice a ve světě. Teoretická část je zaměřena na objasnění základního pojmosloví souvisejícího s extremismem a dále vysvětlení významu užívaných symbolů, stejně tak i jejich konkrétního využití v oblasti její propagace. V praktické části je na základě provedeného terénního výzkumu prezentována vlastní fotodokumentace shromážděné symboliky, která je užívána na veřejném prostranství. V praktické části je dále prezentována extremistická symbolika ve virtuálním prostředí internetu. Shromážděná symbolika je následně podrobena významové a obsahové analýze. V této práci je rovněž provedena komparace nejzákladnějších extremistických skupin pravicového a levicového spektra. Součástí diskuze je rozbor jednotlivých symbolů a jejich významu z pohledu propagačního a ideologického, zároveň je zde provedena formulace doporučení pro bezpečnostní praxi a návrh vzdělávání bezpečnostních pracovníků a veřejnosti v problematice extremistické symboliky.

The content of the diploma thesis is the characteristics of the initial symbolism of the current most important extremist and terrorist organizations in the Czech Republic and in the world. The theoretical part is focused on clarifying the basic terminology related to extremism and further explaining the meaning of the symbols used, as well as their specific use in the field of their promotion. In the practical part, based on the conducted field research, the own photo documentation of the collected symbolism is presented, which is used by extremists in public spaces. This part also collects and presents the symbolism used by individual extremist entities in the virtual environment of the Internet. The collected symbolism is subjected to semantic and content analysis. Part of the diploma thesis is also a comparison of the most basic extremist groups of the right and left spectrum. Part of the discussion is the analysis of individual symbols and clarification of their meaning from a promotional and ideological point of view. There is also a formulation of recommendations for security practice and a proposal for the education of security staff and the public in the issue of extremist symbolism.
