EPC jako nástroj financování úspor ve zdravotnických zařízeních

Abstract

Podstatou metody EPC (energy performance contracting) je prokazatelné snížení energetických nákladů zákazníka investicemi do úsporných opatření, které se postupně zaplatí z dosahovaných úspor. Úspory jsou po celou dobu splácení garantovány poskytovatelem energetických služeb - ESCO firmou (energy service company). Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnotit nástroj EPC u vybraného zdravotnického zařízení - zhodnotit dosažené úspory, ekonomické dopady a nasazení metody EPC ve zdravotnickém zařízení. K výpočtu dosažených úspor je využita denostupňová metoda, k hodnocení ekonomických dopadů je využita finanční analýza absolutních ukazatelů a nasazení metody EPC hodnotí SWOT analýza. Výstupem práce je prokázání úspěšnosti realizovaného EPC projektu díky dosaženým úsporám a analýze ekonomických dopadů EPC projektu do hospodaření nemocnice. Projekt během desetiletého období nemocnici sníží náklady o 134,5 milionu korun a vygeneruje čistý přínos přes 40 milionů korun.

The essence of the EPC method (energy performance contracting) is a guaranteed reduction of energy expenses for the customer. This is accomplished by an investment into energy efficiency measures, which is then repaid from achieved savings. Savings are contractually guaranteed by an energy service provider - ESCO (energy service company) for the whole duration of the repayment period. The main goal of this Master's thesis to evaluate the results of the EPC tool in a selected healthcare facility - evaluation of achieved savings, economic impacts and deployment of the EPC method in the healthcare facility. A calculation of achieved savings was done using the degree-days method, evaluation of economic impact was carried out using financial analysis of absolute indicators and the deployment of the EPC method is assessed with SWOT analysis. The conclusion of this thesis is that successful realization of the EPC project is proved both by produced savings and analysis of the economic impacts on the financial results of the hospital. Over a ten-year period, this project will decrease the hospital's expenses on energy by 134,5 million crowns and generate net income of over 40 million crowns.
