Analýza dopadů kybernetické kriminality v České republice

Abstract

Kybernetická kriminalita je stále známějším a probíranějším pojmem. Vzhledem k trvale se vyvíjejícímu kyberprostoru a také rychlému vývoji IT zařízení a IT oboru celkově se dá očekávat výrazný narůst kybernetické kriminality do budoucna. Jako každá trestná činnost i tato má své dopady, proto budeme v práci analyzovat vybrané trestné činy označované jako kybernetická kriminalita, a následně i jejich dopady, respektive způsobené finanční škody. Stanovíme také předpokládaný vývoj těchto trestných činů v následujících dvou letech. Abychom mohli data analyzovat a porovnávat, využijeme elementární charakteristiky časových řad, jako jsou první a druhá diference, koeficient růstu, relativní přírůstek a bazický index. Pro stanovení vývoje do budoucna využijeme vhodnou trendovou funkci. Výsledkem práce bude zhodnocení, zda počet námi sledovaných trestných činů ve sledovaném období roste a předpokládá se jejich růst i v následujících letech či nikoli. Dále budeme vyhodnocovat finanční dopady těchto činů, a to na celorepublikové úrovni a také napříč jednotlivými kraji.

Cybercrime is becoming more and more familiar and discussed term. Given the constantly evolving cyberspace and the rapid development of IT equipment as well as the rapid development of the IT industry as a whole, we can expect a significant increase in cybercrime in the future. Like every criminal activity, this activity has its own impacts, so we will analyze the specific crimes, known as cybercrime, and consequently, their impacts or the financial damage caused. We also determine the anticipated progression of these crimes over the next two years. To analyze and compare data, we use elementary characteristics of time series, such as first and second differences, growth coefficient, relative increment, and base index. We will use a suitable trend function for anticipated progression. As a result of the work, we get an evaluation of whether the number of crimes monitored by us will increase in the monitored period and if the growth or decline is expected in the following years. Furthermore, we will evaluate the financial impact of these actions, both at the national level and by the separate regions.
