Problematika obcházení praktických lékařů pacienty v České republice a následný dopad pro urgentní příjmy nemocnic

Abstract

Bakalářská práce za zabývá důvody, proč pacienti často obchází své praktické lékaře a míří se svými zdravotními problémy přímo na oddělení urgentních příjmů, a jaký následný dopad to pro oddělení urgentních příjmů má. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké je zastoupení ,,neakutních" pacientů přijatých na urgentní příjmy a zda je laická veřejnost dostatečně informována o tom, s jakými zdravotními problémy by měla na urgentní příjmy přicházet. Teoretická část se věnuje oddělení urgentního příjmu jako takovému. Dále se pak zabývá třídicími systémy (převážně systémem ESI), které pomáhají určit, jak urgentní je zdravotní stav daného pacienta V praktické části dochází k vyhodnocení dat, sbíraných z oddělení urgentního příjmu dospělých FN Motol, které se týkají urgentnosti zdravotního stavu pacientů přijatých na toto oddělení a způsobu, jakým se pacienti na oddělení dostavili. V druhé části je pak k vyhodnocen dotazník, který zkoumá spokojenost dotázaných s jejich praktickým lékařem a informovanost veřejnosti o problematice urgentních příjmů.

This bachelor thesis deals with reasons why patients often bypass the general practitioner and go with their health complaints directly to the emergency room, as well as the consequences this has on the emergency departments. The aim of this thesis was to determine what percentage of patients come to the emergency department with non-urgent complaints and whether the general public has sufficient knowledge about what type of health complains belong to the emergency department. The theoretical part of this thesis covers emergency departments as such. Furthermore, it deals with triage systems (especially the ESI system), which help to determine the urgency of the patient's condition. In the practical part, data collected on the level of urgency and mode of transport patients used to get to the emergency room of patients admitted to the adult emergency department of the FN Motol hospital are evaluated. In the second part, a questionnaire examining the satisfaction of the general public with their general practitioner and the awareness about the issues of emergency departments are analyzed.
