Abstract
This work deals with research of insulation properties of prints printed on 3D printer using FDM method. In the introductory part there is the principle of FDM method and description of used commercially available materials explained. These printed materials on a 3D printer were examined for their electrical strength using various types of methods designated for this purpose. The measurement was performed on the impact test and the short-term test with rapid voltage rise. At the end of the measurement, the effect of surface irregularities on dielectric strength was also observed. The main goal is to select the most suitable method of measuring electrical strength for prints printed on the 3D printer Prusa i3 MK3 and to determine the material with the highest insulation properties.
