This thesis deals with the possibility of using 3D printing technology for the production of thermal insulation panels intended for contact thermal insulation of buildings. Emphasis is placed on buildings with a curved façade that are becoming more and more frequent in modern architecture. Theoretical part of the thesis includes a research on 3D printing technology and the role of this technology in the development of the construction industry in the future. The work is focused on the most widespread 3D printing technology of plastic. Furthermore, the thesis contains a research for contact thermal insulation systems and its alternatives used for the thermal insulation of curved facades. The second part contains conceptual design of thermal insulation panel, selection of suitable technology for its production and material solution of the panel. The practical part contains the design and production of a prototype of the panel on a 3D printer, testing the thermal properties of created samples and evaluation of the obtained data.
