dc.description.abstract | Nechť je b základ číselné soustavy. Pak ciferněsoučtové zobrazení S : 5ln ~ 5ln definujeme předpisem S (x) = g,". n f(x;), kde f : (0, 1..., b — 1) ~ 5ln a x; jsou cifry přirozeného čísla x zapsaného v základu b. | cze |
dc.description.abstract | Given a base b, a digit sum function is a map S : 5ln ~ 5ln defined as S(x) = g,". n f(x;), where f : (0,1...,b — 1) ~ 5ln and x; are digits of the natural number x written in base b. We prove that the attractor set of such functions is bounded. We cover cycles of previously studied digit sum functions of the form S, b(x) = g,". n x'.,where e is natural. For e = 2 this corresponds to the well-known happy number problem. We give an improved upper bound of the attractor set of S,b for general e. We also generalise these functions to linear recurrent numeration systems and determine their cycles for exponents e = 2 and e = 3. Additionally, we give cycles of digit sum functions with f(x;) = C(x;), where C is the Collatz function, in standard b-ary systems. Lastly, we introduce the composite functions Co S,t„prove that their attractor set is also bounded and give their cycles for exponents e = 2 and e = 3. | eng |
