Polyfunkční dům Bubeneč

Abstract

Novostavba polyfunkčního domu v Bubenči je umístěna na náměstí naproti objektu Staré čistírny odpadních vod patřící mezi nejvýznamnější industriální památky Evropy. Půdorysný tvar objektu reaguje na svou významnou pozici v celém urbanistickém návrhu a otevírá se směrem ke kulturní památce, čímž rozšiřuje veřejný prostor pěší zóny procházející celou lokalitou. Jihovýchodní strana je odvrácena směrem ke komunikaci a rušné železniční trati a poskytuje tak ochranu celému veřejnému prostranství. Polyfunkční dům je koncepčně členěn do tří samostatných celků. Dvě hmotné boční části v sobě ve třech podlažích skrývají kancelářské provozy, prostory komunitního centra, pronajímatelné variabilní prostory a v parteru je umístěn provoz restaurace. Propojujícím prvkem mezi těmito částmi tvoří nižší hmota veřejná tržnice, jejíž otevřený prostor je kontrastem k hmotným bočním částem.

The new building of the multifunctional house in Bubeneč is located on the square opposite the Old Wastewater Treatment Plant, one of the most important industrial monuments in Europe. The ground shape of the building responds to its significant position in the entire urban design and opens towards the cultural monument. The open shape of the building is extending the public space of the pedestrian zone passing through the entire site. The southeast side faces the road and the busy railway line. This solution provides protection for the entire public space. The multifunctional building is conceptually divided into three separate units. The two side parts, faced to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, with three floors contain office facilities, community center, rentable variable spaces, and a restaurant is located in the parterre. The connection between these parts is a lower mass public market whose open space is a contrast to the material side parts.
