Analýza teroristických útoků s použitím střelných zbraní v EU v letech 2006-2016.

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou teroristických útoků v EU v letech 2006 až 2016, zvláštní důraz je kladen na útoky s použitím střelných zbraní. V diplomové práci jsme si stanovili několik cílů. Nejprve jsme definovali oblast zájmu. Věnovali jsme se současnému stavu bezpečnosti a událostem, které na ni mají (ne)přímý vliv. Připravili jsme přehled důležitých událostí, které ovlivnily bezpečnostní situaci v Evropě. Dále jsme se zabývali charakteristikou migrantů druhé a třetí generace a osamělých vlků, neopomenuli jsme ani důvody vedoucí k radikalizaci útočníků. Dalším z cílů bylo zmapovat vybrané teroristické útoky. Popsali jsme útoky pravicového extremisty Anderse Breivika, útok džihádistů na redakci časopisu Charlie Hebdo a útok aktivního střelce Aliho Davida Sonboly. V praktické části jsme se zaměřili na analýzu všech proběhnuvších útoků ve sledovaném období. Zvlášť jsme sledovali útoky vykonané střelnými zbraněmi. Popsali jsme motivy útoků. Hledali jsme souvislosti mezi množstvím spáchaných útoků a potřebou aktualizovat zbraňovou legislativu.

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of terrorist attacks in the EU between years 2006 and 2016, with particular emphasis on attacks where a firearm is used. In the thesis several goals are set. Firstly, area of interest is defined, then the current state of security and events that have (in)direct impact are beeing assessed. The thesis prepares an overview of important events that have affected the security situation in Europe. The thesis also deals with the characteristics of second and third generation of migrants and lone wolves. The reasons for the radicalization of the attackers are also included. Another of the goals is to pinpoint the selected terrorist attacks. The thesis describes Anders Breivik's right-wing extremism, the Jihadist attack on Charlie Hebdo magazine as well as the attack of active shooter Ali David Sonboly. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on the analysis of all attacks in the monitored period, where the attack was carried out by a firearm. The thesis also describes the motives of the attackers. A link is sough between the number of attacks committed and the need for weapon legislation update.
