Návrh na zefektivnění odpadového hospodářství ve Všeobecné fakultní nemocnici v Praze

Abstract

Cílem této práce je zpracování návrhu na zefektivnění odpadového hospodářství na Gynekologicko-porodnické klinice Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice v Praze. Při řešení bylo využito situační analýzy současného stavu likvidace odpadu ve VFN, přičemž závěry byly shrnuty v matici SWOT. Pro kalkulaci nákladů byla využita metoda Total Cost of Ownership, která navíc uvažovala vývoj nákladů s ohledem na faktor času. Z výsledků práce vyplývá, že klinika může na nákladech během deseti let ušetřit až sedm miliónů korun, při pořízení konvertoru odpadu. Přínosem této práce je možné využití provedené analýzy pro pořízení dekontaminačního zařízení nejen pro Gynekologicko-porodnickou kliniku VFN, ale i jiná zdravotnická zařízení s obdobnou produkcí infekčního odpadu. Součástí diplomové práce je i interní pokyn pro použití konvertoru.

The aim of this thesis is to elaborate a proposal for increasing efficiency of waste management at the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the General University Hospital in Prague. The thesis employed a method of situational analysis of the current state of the waste disposal in the GUH and assembled a SWOT analysis. Total Cost of Ownership methodology was used to calculate all costs with discount factor. The results of the thesis show that the clinic that would purchase a waste converter can save up to seven million crowns over a period of ten years. It is assumed that the analytical part of the thesis can potentially be useful for other medical facilities with similar production of infectious waste that consider purchasing the decontamination equipment. An internal instruction for using the converter is included in the diploma thesis.
