Determination of solar coverage in family and apartment buildings is a very complex matter, where the main criteria include the consumption profile of the electric energy and the size of the installed solar system. This diploma thesis deals with the comparison of the solar coverage of the user's electricity without the possibility of accumulation in electric accumulators or hot service water. The main method used in this work is by generating a random sampling profile of user electric energy that generates data in minute intervals for the whole of one calendar year, furthermore in the case of apartment houses the type of electricity supply and calculation relations given in the publication "Photovoltaics for buildings" by Ing. Kamil Staněk, Ph.D. [15]. The analysis found that, in the case of family houses, solar coverage varies depending on the residence of the household, where the highest values are achieved by households in which the ocupants are mostly in house. When installing a photovoltaic system with twice as much power than its consumption, solar coverage of 25% to 38% is achieved for people moving mostly at home depending on the amount of household appliances and household occupancy. In the case of people mostly moving outside the home, it is 18% to 23%. For residential buildings where the photovoltaic system is placed over the entire roof area of the building, the solar power consumption of the five-storey apartment building would be between 21% and 28%, and with the increasing height and consumption of the building, solar coverage would decrease. Further, the thesis shows the differences between the individual methods of determination of the electric energy consumption profiles, when there is a significant distortion of the data from the average energy supply type diagrams. This work could be extended by analysis with the possibility of accumulation in accumulators or in hot water, or other way of using electrical energy.
