Analýza rytin bojišť třicetileté války - Litoměřice a Stará Boleslav

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou historických vyobrazení bojišť třicetileté války pocházejících z nakladatelství Matthäuse Mariana ve Frankfurtu nad Mohanem. Studovanými lokalitami, jsou Litoměřice a Stará Boleslav zachycené na dvou rytinách z roku 1640. Nejprve práce uvádí historii obou měst, počátek a průběh třicetileté války a její dopad na země koruny české. Následně představuje řešenou problematiku a obecný popis analyzovaných rytin. Dále přináší informace o vzniku využitých mapových podkladů, jejich postupných úpravách a zpracování. Stěžejní část práce poskytuje podrobnou analýzu otisků rytin zahrnující jejich rozbor, vymezení zobrazeného území, stanovení přibližného měřítka, určení observačních míst a modelaci viditelnosti daného území. Mezi výsledky práce dále patří vektorová kresba vybraných prvků rytiny, vizualizovaná na vytvořeném digitálním modelu terénu.

This diploma thesis presents an analysis of historical illustrations of battlefields of the Thirty Years' War created in the Matthäus Merian's publishing house in Frankfurt am Main. Localities of Litoměřice and Stará Boleslav, illustrated in two copperplates from 1640, are studied. In the introduction, the thesis adumbrates the history of the towns, the beginning and the course of the Thirty Years' War and its impact on the Czech lands. Then the thesis expounds the presented issue as well as a general description of the analyzed copperplates. Afterwards, information about the origin of used map bases, their successive editing and processing, is adduced. The essential part of the thesis provides detailed analysis of the engravings and comprises their assay, delimitation of the displayed area, determination of the approximate map scale, designation of the observational sites and creation of the visibility of designated area. The conclusions of the thesis also include vector representation of the selected elements of the copperplate visualized on a created digital terrain model.
