This bachelor thesis deals with the calculation of a real underground structure subjected to earthquake. The goal of the thesis is to introduce a method that improves the results of designing seismic loads of underground structures. The calculation is performed by a fully dynamic analysis in the GEO5 FEM programme using the Finite Element Method. Part of the thesis deals with the influence of parameters of the numerical model on the results of calculation. Special attention is paid to boundary conditions along the vertical boundary of the model. The results of the fully dynamic analysis are presented at the end of the thesis.
