Abstract

Každý se určitě někdy potápěl, třeba jenom doma ve vaně, ale od určité hloubky náhle pociťoval narůstající bolest v uších. Jedná se o fyzikání jev, při kterém se s hloubkou zanoření mění tlak a objem. Na celé tělo potápěče působí pod vodou okolní tlak. S klesáním se tlak zvyšuje a objem dýchací směsi v plicích zmenšuje. Je to velice zajímavý pocit. Najednou vnímáte okolí mnohem intenzivněji. Na tomto principu funguje koncept podvodní galerie. Myšlenka je založena na odliš- ném vnímání umění. Je rozdílné, když člověk stojí před obrazem či sochou v galerii nebo se kolem nich potápí s neoprenem a maskou. Voda propouští sluneční světlo jako barevný filtr, kde barevná intenzita s hloubkou klesá. Vystavované umění má potom unikátní a nezaměnitelnou atmosféru.
