Aplikace metody Activity Based Costing na vybraných diagnozách

Abstract

Jedním z významných problémů českého, ale i světového zdravotnictví je výrazný vzestup nákladů poskytovatelů zdravotní péče. Tento trend je způsoben mnoha faktory, jako je například stárnutí populace, vývoj nových léčiv a léčivých postupů. Cílem této diplomové práce je zjištění skutečných nákladů na dvě vybrané diagnózy kalkulační metodou Activity Based Costing z pohledu zdravotnického zařízení. Jako zdravotnická zařízení byla vybrána Thomayerova nemocnice a Oblastní nemocnice Kladno a.s., Diagnózy vybrané pro zjištění skutečných nákladů jsou akutní apendicitida s lokalizovanou peritonitidou a ektopické varle. Celkové náklady na léčbu diagnózy jsou porovnávány s výší úhrady od zdravotních pojišťoven. Dalším cílem této diplomové práce je formulace postupu aplikace metody Activity Based Costing pro výpočet skutečných nákladů i u jiných, v této diplomové práci neřešených, diagnóz.

One of the major problems of both Czech and world healthcare is the significant increase in costs of the healthcare providers. This trend is caused by many factors, such as population aging, development of new drugs and healing methods. The aim of this diploma thesis is to find out the actual costs of two selected diagnosis using the Activity Based Costing calculation method from the medical institution's point of view. The Thomayer Hospital and the Regional Hospital Kladno a.s. were chosen as the medical institutions, diagnosis selected to identify the actual costs are the acute appendicitis with localized peritonitis and the ectopic testicle. The total costs of treatments for the diagnosis are compared with the amount paid by the insurance companies. Another aim of this diploma thesis is to formulate the procedure of application of the Activity Based Costing method for calculating the actual costs of other diagnosis that are not solved in this thesis.
