Abstract

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá dnes aktuálním tématem hrozby islamistického terorismu ve světě, ale i v České republice, možných příčin zvyšujícího se násilí vůči civilnímu obyvatelstvu v souvislosti s náboženstvím a ideologií. Práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část práce si klade za cíl osvětlení základních pojmů souvisejících s tématem práce. Je stručně vysvětlen samotný pojem Islám, využity jsou doslovné citace z Koránu k náhledu na jejich ,,kaučukové ohýbání" ve prospěch různých ideologií. Osvětlena je také odlišnost mezi sunnitskými a šíitskými muslimy, neboť jsem přesvědčen o tom, že pochopení rozdílných náhledů těchto dvou větví islámu je podstatné k pochopení dané problematiky. K ucelenému pohledu na věc nemůže chybět vysvětlení pojmu terorismus s exkurzem do jeho možného historického vzniku a vývoje. V praktické části práce je proveden průzkum ke zhodnocení současného stavu problematiky islamistického terorismu a možných teroristických útoků a náboženských konfliktů ve světě. Průzkum byl proveden pomocí dotazníkového šetření mezi širokou veřejností, za účelem zjištění názoru občanů ČR na danou problematiku a dle výsledků průzkumu vytyčení možného doporučení ke zvýšení efektivity informovanosti civilního obyvatelstva o islámu, resp. islamistického terorismu a jeho hrozby v České republice. Dále je v práci využita metoda řízeného rozhovoru s muslimem žijícím dlouhodobě v České republice k tomu, jak on vnímá život v převážně ateisticko - křesťanské zemi, zda se stal obětí ataku z hlediska vyznání. Jako další řízený rozhovor, který je v práci použit, je s příslušníkem Policie České republiky, který byl dvakrát vyslán k plnění úkolů v rámci migrační krize na zahraniční misi a podílel se na registraci imigrantů v Řecku. Cílem tohoto rozhovoru je určení možnosti, zda v rámci ohromné migrace obyvatelstva mohli příslušníci nejen české policie odhalit možnou hrozbu teroristy mezi imigranty, jaké k tomu byly nastaveny bezpečnostní opatření atd.

This thesis deals with the topical subject of the threat of Islamic terrorism across the world as well as in the Czech Republic, and the possible causes for the growing violence against civilians in relation to religion and ideology. The document is divided into a theoretical section and a practical section. The theoretical section of the document aims to clarify the basic terminology related to the subject matter of the thesis. The subject of Islam itself is defined briefly, using literal quotations from the Koran in order to contextualise their "bending" in favour of various ideologies. The differences between Sunni and Shiite Muslims is also clarified, because I am convinced that understanding the different views of these two branches of Islam is fundamental in understanding the given issue. Lastly, in order to have a comprehensive view of the issue, it is important to explain the concept of terrorism with a digression to its possible historical origins and development. A survey was conducted for the practical section of the document, evaluating the current state of the issue of Islamic terrorism and possible terrorist attacks and religious conflicts in the world. The survey utilised a questionnaire posed to the general public, in order to determine the opinions of citizens of the Czech Republic about the issue at hand, and, according to survey results, to mark out possible recommendations for increasing the effectiveness of the awareness of the civilian public about Islam or rather Islamic terrorism and its threats in the Czech Republic. The thesis then goes on to utilise structured interview methods with a Muslim living long-term in the Czech Republic about how he perceives life in a primarily atheist/Christian country, and whether he has been the victim of attacks due to his faith. Another structured interview was also conducted with a member of the Police of the Czech Republic, who was sent on two foreign missions to perform tasks related to the migrant crisis, and participated in immigrant registration in Greece. The goal of this interview was to determine whether members of the Czech police and others could uncover possible terrorist threats among migrants during mass population migration, what kinds of safety precautions were established, etc.
