Islámský terorismus na evropském území

Abstract

Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce poskytuje pohled na teroristické útoky spáchané v Evropě v rozmezí let 2000 - 2015. Jejich kvantitativní přehled a hledá vysvětlení výkyvů v konkrétních letech. V teoretické části jsou uvedeny základní geografické a statistické informace o Evropě a vybraných státech. Dále práce poskytuje základní informace z oblasti terorismu, jeho technikách a taktikách, a o prostředí islámu. Nedílnou součástí je poskytnutí přehledu vybraných teroristických skupin působících na evropském území a právní legislativy dotčených států. Tento teoretický úvod je považován za nezbytný pro lepší uvedení (především případného laického) čtenáře do problematiky. Součástí praktické části práce je průzkumné šetření formou nestandardizovaného anonymního dotazníku, zaměřeného na získání relevantních informací od příslušníků jednotky PMJ ve služebním poměru. Takto získané informace jsou využity při tvorbě SWOT analýzy a dále při zodpovězení hypotéz. V rámci hypotéz jsou dvě zaměřeny na jednotku PMJ. Jedna na komparaci útoků v období let 2000 - 2015 a poslední zaměřená na útoky motivované radikální formou islámu v období od 11. 9. 2011 do 2015. Výše zmíněné hypotézy zaměřené na jednotku PMJ zkoumají, jak vnímají příslušníci této jednotky dostatečnost zdejší legislativy ve vztahu k terorismu, a dále jejich vnímání pravděpodobnosti, spáchání teroristického útoku motivovaného radikální formou islámu na našem území. Poslední z využitých metod je komparace. Jejím prostřednictvím získáme ucelený přehled trendu teroristických útoků v Evropě v časovém období roku 2000 - 2015. Následně bude dle dostupných informací vytvořen přehled teroristických útoků motivovaných islámem na území Evropy. V konečné fázi práce budou shrnuta doporučení v oblasti výcviku jednotky PMJ.

Abstract This thesis provides insight in terroristic attacks committed in Europe between 2000 and 2015 including their quantitative enumeration and it tries to find explanation of fluctuations in specific individual years. The theoretical part gives basic geographic and statistic data on Europe and chosen countries. Moreover, it provides basic information on terrorism, its techniques and Islamist environment. An integral part is a survey of chosen terrorist groups active in Europe and legislation of countries affected by them. This theoretic introduction is believed to be necessary for better understanding of the issue by the readers (in particular laymen). The practical part of the thesis a non-standardised anonymous questionnaire form investigation focusing on collection of information from PMJ unit professional members. This way collected information will be used in the preparation of a SWOT analysis and confirmation of hypotheses. In the hypothesis, two are focused on the PMJ. One on the comparison of attacks in the period of 2000-2015 and the last one focused on attacks motivated by a radical form of Islam from September the 11th of 2011 to 2015. The mentioned hypothesis of the PMJ unit examines how the members of this unit perceive the sufficiency of local legislation in relation to terrorism and their perception of the likelihood of committing a terrorist attack motivated by a radical form of Islam in our territory. The last of methods used is comparison. It was implemented to get an overview of terrorist attack trends in Europe in years 2000 - 2015. In the next step, we will take available information and use it to create a survey of Islam motivated terrorist attacks in Europe. The final part of the thesis is a summary of recommendations for the PMJ unit training.
