Abstract

Název práce: Kazuistika rehabilitační péče u dítěte s Downovým syndromem v předškolním věku se zaměřením na orofaciální oblast Cíl práce: Cílem bakalářské práce je zpracování kazuistiky u čtyřletého chlapce s Downovým syndromem. Terapie a terapeutické metody jsou voleny na základě vstupního vyšetření. Dle výstupního vyšetření je sestaven dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán. Krátkodobý i dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán je zaměřený především na orofaciální oblast. Metoda: Obecná část bakalářské práce se zabývá Downovým syndromem jako takovým, jeho vznikem, společnými znaky pro všechny jedince s touto diagnózou a jejich typickým vývojem. Podrobněji je, vzhledem k zaměření práce, rozpracována fyziologie polykání a patofyziologie v orofaciální oblasti, která významně zasahuje do života těchto dětí. Stejně tak jako různé stupně mentální retardace, jejichž rozpracování je také součástí této části. Ve speciální části je uvedena kazuistika čtyřletého chlapce s výše uvedenou diagnózou. Dále jsou popsány výsledky vstupního vyšetření, na jehož základě došlo k volbě cvičebních jednotek. Samostatnou kapitolou je pak metodologie, kde jsou popisovány nejen metody využívané v terapii a při vyšetřeních, ale také zařízení, kde byla bakalářská práce zpracovávána. Výsledky terapie jsou zhodnoceny ve výstupním vyšetření. Součástí závěru bakalářské práce je i diskuze, v níž jsou hodnoceny výsledky zvolených terapeutických postupů.

Name of the bachelor thesis: Casuistry rehabilitation care of a child with Down syndrome in preschool age with focus on orofacial section The aim of the paper: The aim of the bachelor thesis is to elaborate a case study in a four-year-old boy with Down syndrome. The therapy and therapeutic methods are selected on the basis of the initial screening. A long-term rehabilitation plan is set up on the basis of the initial screening. Both the short-term and the long-term rehabilitation plan namely focus on the orofacial area. Method: The general part of the bachelor thesis deals with Down syndrome as such, its occurrence, common features for all the individual with this diagnosis, and the typical development thereof. Given the focus of the paper, more a!ention is being paid to the physiology of swallowing and the pathophysiology in the orofacial area, which significantly impacts the lives of these children. Their lives are also influenced by the different degrees of mental retardation, the elaboration of which also forms a part of this section. A special part is dedicated to the case study of a four-year-old boy with the above diagnosis. Further on, the results of the initial screening are described, based on which the exercise units have been selected. An individual chapter is dedicated to methodology, which describes not only methods used in therapy and during screenings, but also the tools used during the elaboration of the bachelor thesis. The results of the therapy are evaluated in the final screening. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis also includes discussion evaluating the results of the selected therapeutic procedures.
