Atherosclerosis is a degenerative chronic disease of a artery wall. Detection of atherosclerotic changes is based on the knowledge of the wall of vessels, mainly arteries and their pathological changes. In the process of pathogenesis play an essential role endothelial cells, tunica intima, the concentration of lipids in the artery wall and the local chronic inflammation. Detection of atherosclerotic changes can be provided on a histological slide and by a basic staining method, ex. hematoxyline ? eosin. The goal will be fabricating and the description of histological slides, where is clear the procedure of atherosclerotic changes in comparision with a normal artery.
