Aplikace pro prezentaci vabraných monitorovacích dat experimentu COMPASS

Abstract

V uvode je citatel strucne oboznameny s fyzikalnym pozadim experimentu COMPASS v CERNE. Experiment obsahuje rozsiahly technicky aparat, ktoreho vyznamnou sucastou je polarizovany terc. Tato praca vyuzva vybrane monitorovacie data experimentu COMPASS, konkretne data polarizovaneho terca. Su to rozlicne data o hodnotach teploty, tlaku, prietoku a hladiny tekutn vyctane z PLC (Programmable logic controller), data o polarizaci a data z magnetu. Je popsany sp^osob zskania dat z jednotlivych zdrojov, ich charakter a nasledne spracovanie. Naplnou prace je navrh aplikacie, ktora vhodnym sposobom zobrazi ziskane data. Citatel je oboznameny sa s pouzitymi technologiami a kriteriami pouzitymi pre ich vyber. Z hladiska experimentu je vyhodne mat tieto data dostupne z roznych miest pre viacero pouzvatelov. Predlozena praca sa zaobera samotnou implementaciou aplikacie pre zobrazenie tychto dat koncovemu pouzvatelovi.

In the introduction, the reader is provided with the basic physics background of the experiment COMPASS at CERN. The experiment uses a huge apparatus, the important part of which is the polarized target. This project works with a selected set of COMPASS experiment monitoring data, specifically the data from the polarized target. The data set contains information about temperatures, pressures, ow rates and liquid levels read from PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), polarization data and magnet data. The way of acquiring data from its sources, their structure as well as their further analysis is described. The project is subjected to proposal for an application which displays the acquired data in an appropriate way. The reader is apprised with software technologies and criteria user for their selection. For the experiment it is beneficial to have the data available to various users and from multiple locations at the same time. The project describes the implementation of the application itself along with the form in which the data are presented to the end user.
