Porovnání ochranných prvků českých a amerických bankovek

Abstract

Bakalářská práce zkoumá relativní kvalitu ochranných prvků bankovek Koruny české a Amerického dolaru. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na obeznámení čtenáře s pojmem peněz a jejich funkcemi, nachází se zde také výtah z historie peněz a jejich vývoje, a stručně popisuje úlohu centrální banky a peněžního trhu. V praktické části je popis a porovnání ochranných prvků dvou zvolených bankovek (2000 CZK a 100 USD). Dále se věnuje problému padělání na území ČR a USA. V rámci práce došlo ke kontrole pravosti zkoumaných bankovek metodami popsanými v informačních zdrojích ČNB. Provedeným výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že ochranné prvky zkoumaných bankovek jsou přibližně stejné úrovně, české na lehce lepší. Tento závěr je podporován i statistikami ohledně zadržených padělků.

The bachelor thesis examines the relative quality of the security features of the Czech Crown and US dollar banknotes. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on familiarizing the reader with the concept of money and its functions, it also contains an extract from the history of money and its development, and briefly describes the role of the central bank and the money market. The practical part describes and compares the security features of the two selected banknotes (2000 CZK and 100 USD) and discusses the problem of counterfeiting in the Czech Republic and the USA. Within the framework of the thesis, the authenticity of the banknotes examined was checked using the methods described in the information sources of the CNB. It was found that the security features of the examined banknotes are of approximately the same level, the Czech ones are slightly better. This conclusion is supported by the statistics on seized counterfeits.
