Srovnání subjektivní a objektivní úrovně znalostí plavčíků o automatizovaném externím defibrilátoru

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá srovnáním subjektivní a objektivní úrovně znalostí plavčíků o automatizovaném externím defibrilátoru. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická části práce shrnuje informace o automatizovaném externím defibrilátoru. Konkrétně se zabývá jeho popisem, principem fungování, rozmístěním, riziky, kontraindikacemi a úspěšností použití. V této části je také popsána náhlá zástava oběhu, její příčiny a dále jsou také popsány postupy pro základní neodkladnou resuscitaci dítěte a dospělého. Práce také definuje profesní kvalifikaci plavčík a zaměřuje se na jeho kompetence v oblasti poskytování předlékařské první pomoci a v oblasti záchrany tonoucího. Praktická část pomocí dotazníkového šetření zkoumá subjektivní a objektivní úroveň znalostí plavčíků o automatizovaném externím defibrilátoru a dále tyto zjištění porovnává a zkoumá vztahy mezi nimi a vedlejšími proměnnými (délkou praxe, doby od posledního školení a nejvyšším dosaženým vzděláním). Dále jsou v práci analyzovány výsledky vědomostní části šetření a na základě nejzávažnějších znalostních nedostatků jsou stanovena doporučení pro budoucí školení plavčíků. V diskuzi jsou výsledky práce porovnány s poznatky studií, věnující se této problematice a následně jsou v závěru práce shrnuty dosažené cíle a poznatky, které tato práce přinesla.

This Bachelor's thesis compares the subjective and objective levels of lifeguards' knowledge of automated external defibrillators. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical sections. The theoretical section summarises information about AEDs, specifically dealing with their description, operating principle, placement, risks, contraindications and success rate. It also describes sudden cardiac arrest and its causes, as well as basic emergency resuscitation procedures for children and adults. The thesis also defines the professional qualifications of a lifeguard, focusing on their competence in providing pre-medical first aid and rescuing drowning individuals. The practical section uses a questionnaire survey to examine the subjective and objective levels of knowledge that lifeguards have about automated external defibrillators, and compares and examines these findings in relation to secondary variables such as length of practice, time since last training and highest level of education. The thesis analyses the results of the knowledge section of the survey and, based on the most significant knowledge gaps, makes recommendations for the future training of lifeguards. The discussion compares the results of this study with those of other studies dealing with this issue, and the conclusion summarises the objectives achieved and the findings of this study.
