Policejní metody vyšetřování trestných činů v oblasti kryptoměn

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice trestné činnosti páchané v souvislosti s kryptoměnami a návazné forenzní analýze vedoucí k vytrasování osoby pachatele konkrétního trestného činu. Jsou v ní uvedeny základní funkční principy kryptoměn kryptografie, blockchain, realizace a validace transakcí, kterým je pro rozšíření kontextu této práce vhodné porozumět. Dále práce specifikuje rozsah trestné činnosti, jež je v oblasti kryptoměn páchána a analytické metody, za jejichž pomoci policejní orgány, finanční instituce či kryptoměnoví fanoušci odhalují původ podezřelých finančních obnosů a identitu pachatele protiprávního jednání. Výsledkem práce je realizace případové studie, při které byly vytrasovány cílové adresy pachatele ve věci internetového podvodu.

This bachelors thesis focuses on the issue of criminal activity committed with cryptocurrencies and the related forensic analysis leading to the tracing of the perpetrator of a specific crime. Presented are the basic functional principles of cryptocurrencies cryptography, blockchain, transaction execution and validation, which are important to understand for the context of this work. Furthermore, the thesis specifies the scope of criminal activity committed in the field of cryptocurrencies and analytical methods, with the help of which law enforcement agencies, financial institutions or cryptocurrency enthusiasts reveal the origin of illicit financial funds and the identity of the perpetrator of illegal conduct. The result of the work is a case study, which lead to a number of addresses belonging to a perpetrator in a case of an internet fraud.
