dc.description.abstract | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá měřením a následnou analýzou V-p charakteristik a přenosových funkcí okluzivních manžet v kontextu neinvazivního měření krevního tlaku pomocí oscilometrické metody. | cze |
dc.description.abstract | This thesis deals with the measurement and subsequent analysis of V-P characteristics and transfer functions of occlusive cuffs in the context of non-invasive blood pressure measurement using an oscillometric method. The theoretical part introduces the importance and principle of blood pressure measurement and the relevant mathematical procedures required for the analysis. The practical part decribes the set of cuffs, the measurement methodology and the analysis of the obtained data in MATLAB R2023b. For V-P characteristics, the work focuses on their shape, reproducibility and external factors affecting the output of these measurements. Differences were investigated while examinig the impulse response both at the pressure levels of interest, which occurred in an inflated cuff mounted on a paper tube representing a phantom human arm, but also whether there were differences when two differently strong impulses were applied. Based on the impulse response, the descriptive parameters were analyzed and part of them was used to define the transfer function of the cuff, from which the amplitude and phase characteristics were generated. The resulting analysis showed that the nonlinear shape of the V-P characteristics might affect the oscillometric measurement outputs. Thus, the conclusions of this work suggest the possibility of improving the accuracy and reliability of oscillometric blood pressure measurements through a better understanding of the cuff transfer function and its relation to physiological processes in the body. | eng |
