The thesis deals with the analysis of virtual hubs in the energy sector, especially in the context of energy market reform. The aim is to explore the impact of these innovations on electricity markets, ensuring sustainability, competitiveness and security of supply. The work covers the theoretical foundations and practical applications of virtual hubs, including their simulations and correlation analyses. The results show that the most efficient method for calculating the price of a virtual hub is the arithmetic average. The study also suggests that the location of the virtual hub does not affect the flow-based capacity allocation, but changes in the network topology may affect the calculation of the PTDF matrix. It is recommended to increase the frequency of auctions to improve market stability.
