Tvorba tematických map s využitím nových vizualizačních metod

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zabývá netradičními vizualizačními metodami tematické kartografie. Jsou zde vymezeny a popsány běžně používané metody a dále metody nové (méně tradiční). U netradičních metod jsou popsána specifika jejich tvorby v prostředí GIS (geografických informačních systémů) a celková náročnost jejich aplikace na vstupní data. V rámci praktické části jsou vytvořeny tematické mapové výstupy s užitím analyzovaných metod. Výstupem práce je shrnutí aspektů tvorby moderních metod tematické kartografie.

This diploma thesis deals with non-traditional visualization methods of thematic cartography. It defines and describes commonly used methods and new (less common or unusual) methods. For the non-traditional methods, the specifics of their creation in the GIS (Geographic Information System) environment and the overall complexity of their application to input data are described. In the practical part, thematic maps are created using the analysed methods. The output of the thesis is a summary of aspects of creation of modern methods of thematic cartography.
