Diskutují se zde výsledky terapie a doporučení rehabilitační léčby do budoucnosti. The thesis topic is introduction of physiotherapeutic possibilities of intervention in a child after brain injury with regard to visual impairment. The theoretical part of the thesis is dedicated to describing the CNS, selected cranial nerves and ocular system. The following inquires into the etiology, pathophysiology and related consequences of brain trauma. Neurorehabilitation, neuroplasticity and robotic rehabilitation are also explained. Description of early care activities for children with visual impairment concludes the theoretical part of the thesis. The methodological section focuses on examination methods and physiotherapeutic procedures that were implemented when working with the patient. The practical part centers around the case history of the child with combined impairments, including the initial assessment based on wich a short-term rehabilitation plan was compiled. The following introduces the timetable and breakdown of the exercise units that were completed during six-month rehabilitation. The results chapter reviews the initial examination and evaluates the overall course of therapy. A long-term rehabilitation plan is proposed proceeding from collation of the preliminary and final data. The discussion assesses distinction among working with paediatric patients, rehabilitation specificities for children with visual impairment and effects of undergone treatment. It also incorporates advisement on the results of the therapy as well as recommendations for future rehabilitating treatment.
