Fyzioterapie pacienta s amyotrofickou laterální sklerózou

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem neurodegenerativního onemocnění amyotrofická laterální skleróza a jeho ovlivnění pomocí fyzioterapie. Práce je zpracována formou kazuistiky pacientky s amyotrofickou laterální sklerózou. Teoretická část zahrnuje anatomii a patofyziologii nervové soustavy a současné informace o amyotrofické laterální skleróze a možnostech využití fyzioterapie u této nevyléčitelné progredující choroby. V kapitole Metodika jsou uvedeny konkrétní vyšetřovací a terapeutické postupy, které jsem u své pacientky aplikovala v jednotlivých terapeutických jednotkách. Speciální část obsahuje základní informace o vývoji onemocnění, odebranou anamnézu a vstupní vyšetření, na jehož základě byl vypracován krátkodobý a dlouhodobý rehabilitační plán a sepsány jednotlivé terapeutické jednotky. V kapitole Výsledky jsou uvedeny výstupní data a zhodnocení efektu aplikované terapie. I přes předpokládanou progresi stavu došlo v průběhu terapie ke zlepšení posturálních a dechových stereotypů a subjektivně vnímanému zlepšení kvality života pacientky. V Diskuzi je pojednáno o problematice vybraného tématu z širšího hlediska. V Závěru práce je zhodnoceno splnění daných cílů a přínos práce.

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the neurodegenerative disease amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and its influence through physiotherapy. The thesis is presented in the form of a case study of a patient with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The theoretical part includes the anatomy and pathophysiology of the nervous system and current information about amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and the possibilities of physiotherapy in this incurable progressive disease. The Methodology chapter are presents specific examination and therapeutic procedures that I utilized while treating my patient in each therapeutic unit. The Special section contains basic information about the development of the disease, medical history and the initial examination, on the basis of which a short-term and a long-term rehabilitation plan was developed and individual therapeutic units were written. In the Results section, outcome data and evaluation of the effect of the applied therapy are presented. Despite the expected progression of the condition, the postural and breathing stereotypes improved during the therapy and the patient's subjectively perceived quality of life improved. The Discussion section depicts the issues of the selected topic from a broader perspective. In the Conclusion section, the fulfillment of the given objectives and the contribution of the thesis are evaluated.
